Our lone complaint on this front is that the more complex effects and filters aren't accessible via the main window and require you to double-click a shot before you can use them. Bluejay is a service that allows you email big file attachments. It works like any Web based email except it send the recipient a link to the attachment rather than attaching it. The service is free for Bluejay up to 100MB with no more than 10 sends per month. There are lots of paid plans for companies or people who need to send lots of large Bluejay.
